New Volks Saber(?)

From what I can tell reading the description via translator it's a 16-part kit with hair pieces that can easily be interchanged after assembly (source: http://www.volks.co.jp/jp/store/ct_figure.aspx) Also from the description it sounds like they're promoting kit building over simply just collecting them pre-made. ^_^

that looks really cool. I wonder how they're going to do the interchangeable hair with out a huge seam in the hair. I'll just have to wait and see.

You can tell from the picture that the entire back half of the hair will fit snuggly in, but be able to be removed. I have a few things like this and they work great.

Volks japan does ship internationally.

It probably has something to do with licensing but hopefully they'll restock her soon. Saber kits always cost a ton on yahoo especially first releases:cry:

I'm hoping since they're billing this as "Try GK" it won't be so limited as some of the recent volks GKs (1/4 Mikuru and Kanu comes to mind...). Even if I miss out on her initially maybe I'll have a chance at paying retail or thereabouts on YJA, if she's not too limited.

Yeah, I checked HLJ and Hobby Search with no luck :( And I really don't want to go through SMJ's online shop ordering, it's so much more money. I think I'll wait for her to show up in auction and take my chances, and hope I'm not making the wrong decision XD
