View Full Version : Negima kits wanted
06-16-2009, 02:11 PM
After a lot of research I finally found that Negima kits do exist. The ones I know of are of Asuna and Konoe, but I've yet to find any for sale on the net.
I did run into some recasts, but I've been notified that the quality control on them sucks. Also, I'd much rather buy the originals as I'm tired of dealing with recasts.
Does anyone have any information on these kits? I'd like to know, there sculptor and when they were produced. It would also help to get an idea of what they're worth.
Also, I'd appreciate any leads that are found that may bring me closer to getting these in my collection.

The above link should get you resin Negima kits when they do appear, currently there are none on the block though...

Thanks, I'll be watching that link to see if anything appears.
Good news and bad news.
Bad news first. The series you are looking for is a line of pvc prepainted figures put out by Konami about 3 years ago. No official resin kits were released afaik - which is a shame, since they pulled a lot of talent to make this lineup (Clumsy-Craft, G-Dome, Cherry Blossom, etc.)
Here is a link to the offical site: http://www.konami.jp/th/figure/negima2/index.html
If you still want to build a resin kit from this lineup, a recast made off the pvc might be the only way at this time.
Good news. Konami no longer owns the exclusive figure rights for the series. Event only licenses are possible now and more independent sculptors might make some kits. Strangely enough, while checking around I found a sculptor (Nakahara Workshop) had produced an Asuna kit and has been selling it at Treasure Festa and HobbyCon earlier this year.
So far, these are the only three that I could find - http://necosaba.com/putty/event/TF/ariake01/04.html
And here is an Evangeline kit - http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f73468712
Hope this helps.

Interesting and a big time bummer at the same time. The PVC market is starting to piss me off.
It's interesting to see that kits are starting to enter the market though. I'm not really feeling it with the Evangeline kit. The Asuna and Yue kits are very interesting though.
Thank you for your help everyone!
