(sigh) each year I look for a reason to go, and each year I fail myself...

Yeah but, David.. don't you live out that way already?

At least for me it makes sense.. Thats a whole continent away.. sure air travel and all.. but, as close as AX is.. that ticket would cost me a blippin ton.

MattI might be in the same state, but it's still almost 400 miles out. The prospect of driving there alone boggles the mind (done it once, swore never to do it again) Flying out there means going through the joke known as airport security (funny I don't feel safer) get a rental car, book hotel, etc. Seem like an expensive proposition no matter how I look at it. I used to go looking for unusual kits or just stuff I have not been able to find online. But that seem to be less and less of the case. The last time I went, place was flooded with evil poly. I gave up after that.

That certainly makes total sense.. didn't realize you were that far away from LA.. Thought you were closer.. and I agree , driving in LA traffic or anywhere near LA.. is.. a Death wish.

I agree about airport security.. if anything.. I feel a little less safe.. some of the people that work security at hopkins.. Worry me on their IQ levels..

Its been about seven years since I saw a resin kit at an anime convention.

So your right, better to stay home.. and watch the fun from th ecouch ^_^
