I checked all my usual haunts and turned up nothing. A couple places said it was back-ordered, but that could mean next month or never.

Wow, those aluminum ones are great! I hadn't seen those before.

The Kotobukiya ones I saw for sale at Yodobashi Camera (In Akiba).. but that was a year ago, don't know if they went out of production or what. Anyway, don't know if that helps you any since you're in Alaska, but maybe you know someone in Tokyo. The thing about the Koto bases is that they look nice, but are hollow plastic underneath so aren't great for weight. Just in case you didn't know.

thank you for the reply's. I am planning to go to Japan in Nov to watch the Kendo championships. I'll have to snoop around and see if I can find any.
