I have not logged in for a while and there a PM in my inbox.

Here it is.

Good idea. If you ever see anything weird like this - report it to one of the admins right away and please don't re-post any links that might be dangerous. I edited your original post to remove the link (just in case). This user has been removed from the forum.

When I first came here I couldn't add a post. It had to be approved first my Doc or Masa. After 2 or 3 of those I was given full range without needing permits. My guess is those who still need permits to do things.

A "Registered User" is just that, someone who registered at GKJ. Once the registered user becomes active and we know they are legit then their status is upgraded to "Member" and they have full access to the site.
