1/6 Shipon from Stellvia ( WIP thread)

I'm way overdue for a progress thread, so lets get started :D ! This kit itself doesn't have too many casting problems. There's a few deep seamlines and airholes either next to or under the pour plugs. I'm trying to aim to finish this kit by Christmas so I can have a gift to give to my mom. I figure if I spend 2-3 hours in the morning time working on the kit, I'll be able to make the deadline....hopefully :rolleyes: . Here's the picture of the parts and a reference pic:

Work has been kicking my ass, but that will change soon ;) !

I took these pic last week but didn't have the time to post them. Shipon had many tiny pinholes( and a few larges ones as well). It was more trobule getting rid of those than removing the seams. I filled them will mr. dissolve putty and SSP-HG. I did started painting today but my camera batteries died :unsure: . I'm going to be using Mr. color for the first time and enamels.

There is some pinehole but you're doing a good job ;) Keep it up !

Shipon definately has a pinhole problem o.O looks like you're fixing the problem really well though :)

oh wow - I have never seen that version of Shima-chan. I just got an Arisa in the school outfit - so cute!
