Ok, so there was in fact a model exhibition/competition 'ere in Stockholm, Sweden this past week end.

Though most of the show was dominated by military and historical stuff, there were a few movie related entries and among them 3 of my own works; Casca, Seras and Zodd.

I'm not quite in the mood to write too much about each and every pic, so I'll let them speak for themselves... :ninja:

Military stuff that caught my eye:

Historical figures:

This is a good friend of mine; Joachim Lindman.
Some of you might know of him as the sculptor of the 1/12th scale Death Dealer; called the Dark Rider back in the late 90's.
Here he is offering his brand new line of 1/9th scale busts:

I'm gonna post my reply now since I'll never open this thread again (sorry good friend, but it took nearly seven minutes on a DSL link!)

The talent and skill level is superb! I would have liked to attend this show myself. Congrats on your awards, particularly Zoddy. Awesome work, and well deserved.

Joa - you should be committed... I mean commended :p
Awesome work by everyone! The skill level is incredible! That train diorama must have been freaking huge!? With the exception of a few cars, looks like pretty much everybody there was a figure modeler :D

p.s. I still think they didn't have the "Guts" to pick the correct "Best of Show" ;)
