Inspired by another forum which helds a sculpting jam each month, I'm starting something similiar on this forum to get ourselves started.
Each month we pick out a topic to work on. No need to get "professional", it's all for fun and most of all, to learn and develop our skills.
Use your favourite clay, personally I prefer to use a mix of Super Sculpey (80%) and Sculpey III black (20%). I don't have any other experience with clay, though, so any discussions on which clay is best to work with, is better saved for another thread.
For tutorials, check out this thread (http://www.gkjapan.com/showthread.php?p=176#post176) .
Since we're half way through August, we'll keep this topic through September as well. I suggest we start by making a pet. Be it a cat, dog, bird or maybe even a snake (which should be easy enough ;) ). Pick your favourite and don't bother about details. It's just a little thing to get yourself started, remember?
Now whip out your clay and get to work! :D
