A friend of mine and I are thinking about subscribing to one or two Japanese
magazines related to our hobby duhhhhh.
The thing is we have no idea which are worth ,bearing in mind that our combined
reading (japanese skills ) are at best non existent but we do enjoy large pics and
wips of figs and mechs . We wont be reading much though ...
Can any one recommend any ?
If any one know how we can make a subscription and how much it would cost that would also help a lot

thanks :)

I buy Replicant and its affiliated specials through http://www.gkjapan.com/ambience/misc/ambi_footer_hlj.gif (http://www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?MacroType=FigBoo&SeriesID=All&Dis=-2&GenreCode=Boo&Word=replicant)

It's loaded with both regular as well as show only releases and it comes out kind of regularly about every 2½ months...

For figures - Replicant and Figure Maniacs are highly recommended.

The following are figure related but haven't seen a new issue in a while...
Figure Mania, G-Doll, Modeloid

For mostly mecha stufff - Hobby Japan and Dengeki Hobby are popular.

I always kid about how "thin" it is... but some mecha guys prefer Model Graphix.
