I've been browsing youtube alot these past week, trying to find videos on basic sculpting and GK making. Sadly my efforts yields nothing...yet. I've found LOADS of Gundam and Plamo making vids, but alas no GK yet.

Maybe I'm not doing it right. If you guys found a video of GK making/building/sculpting/etc. do post it here.

That reminds me, what happened to Filmy's tutorial video?!

Try to get a hold of the David Fisher ModelMania Dvd's.

There are also quiet a few sculpting videos available, but I will need to get that info from the Clubhouse forum for you.

HTH.

Thanks for the reply,Zen!

I'm on the lookout for Gnomon workshop sculpting DVD myself. I 'm just curious that I haven't found a video about GK on YouTube.

Apart from that as for GK related Videos, there is only the Volks series(AFAIK).
Said that most of the standard skills used in scale modeling transfer well to figure kits too.

As for GK videos on YouTube, GK is just too small a hobby to attract that type of attention.

Actually, we have something major in the works. I mean BIG TIME major, for modelers of all subjects and interests, including builders and afficianados of both American and Japanese GKs. The tuts aren't dead, they've just morphed into something completely different.

Think high definition television for model builders, available in HD, BluRay, or SD DVD or via the web, with features, interviews, show coverage, behind-the-scenes, how-to's, and tutorials out the wazoo.

Look for the first issue this fall - details to come, so stay tuned! ;)

Hi M_Candy. Just watched your tutorials. Excellent! Just what a noob needs. Sometimes photos just don't tell the story. Thank you for taking the time.
