View Full Version : Get some cool swag and support GKJ!
Unlike most of the model-related sites out there, this forum is run totally by private funding. That includes all the server space, forum software, photo galleries, chat rooms, and security measures. Because the forum is totally independant, we, the members don't have to look at ads and pop-ups and aren't regulated or controlled by any stores and/or third-parties. Cool, huh? This is all funded out-of-pocket by Dr.H and because I, like most of you, don't want to see him in the poorhouse... how about we all pitch in a little and help support the GKJ community?
One easy way to show your support is by purchasing some cool swag at the GKJ store. Lots of cool items in a variety of styles, colors, AND sizes and all proceeds go right back into the site. Just click on the "GKJ Merchandise" button in the top nav bar and it will take you right to the shop.
Some of my favorites are the new dark colored tees with the new logo on the front. Particularly the Cardinal and Navy Blue... yum :)

Hmmm... how very fashionable. I like-ee, indeed-ee.
Models! We need models! Preferably of the warm blooded, breathing variety. Not the plastic/resin/vinyl variety.
& for those who are thinking it, warm bodies augmented with plastic as models are an option.

Wishful thinking my friend... but thanks for the bump :D

My concern is prints like that will wear off the shirts quickly. Perhaps B&W line art instead?

I´d prefer the dark red one - how long does the logo stay on? a women style shirt with this logo would be really cool- is there any possibilty to have a name (like our forum nick) printed on the backside?
The new dark colored shirts are direct printing. From the cafepress faq:
"Direct Printing
With Direct Printing, we print direct-to-fabric with no transfers. The result is a matte image that moves with the garment because the ink is actually embedded in the fabric for ultimate wearable comfort. After a few washes, you will notice the great durability of Direct Printing. That means greater image staying power.
The benefits of Direct Printing
Great washability - no fading
No feel of ink on the fabric (the ink is in the fabric)
No cracking
No transfer lines"
A line art version does sound interesting though :)

Sorry, the dark colored shirts can't have printing on the back yet.
