. . . . you get home from work to find that the mailman left a big box at your door? And then you open it up to find Mike Cusanelli's latest masterpiece? :D

And then to top it all off, you discover that because you ordered right away, as soon as the kit was announced, that you end up with one of the first pulls?

Yippiee!!

This, of course, is my favorite view!

"Who ARE you?"

"I'm Buttman!"

Here are some macro closeups of what seams I could find (gee, it's gonna take me a whole ten minutes to clean this baby up!):

What could have potentially been a real chore to clean up (with all the shoulder detail) should be a breeze!

I've built several Solar Winds kits, and I guess I usually get in too late and get a later pull, because the hair is usually a real pain to clean up - lots little resin boogers in the depressions, major seam lines running through the strands, but THIS baby is a joy to behold. Just LOOK at the detail in this headpiece and how clean the hair is! :D

Tiny seam (Can you find it?)

Here are the appendages and weapon:

Dang, looks like she busted a digit! That's okay, I'm a modeler, not an assembler!

Oops, looks like she took one on the chin, too. Now where did I put that Aves?

And finally, the base. I love these things!

Now my Avaris will have a girlfriend to hang with! I am very much looking forward to the third Egyptian Queen, and the 1/4 scale Karnstein as well.

I hope you enjoyed this photo review. Next time you see her she'll be covered in primer!

Wow, that's a very gorgeous kit and the cast looks really good too. I might wanna pick this kit up for myself:) . Are you gonna stick with colors from the build or do different color scheme?

Woah it looks like a truly good cast! Nearly no seamline and high detailed cloth/armor :D

Will you stick with the original color scheme, or will you surprise us with new colors like in your Future Girl kit (http://gkjapan.com/showthread.php?t=546)?

I'm expecting a superb work on this ::thumb

Outstanding buy there! Very, very nice kit, very little clean up. I'm so jealous.

I can't wait to see it once you're done. ^___^

I'm sooo looking forward to seeing your wip posts :) I know we will all learn some neat tricks watching you handle all the details of the suit and headdress on this kit. Are you going to use some sort of wash method?

I have a Frodo by Mike when he was with Soldat. Your new kit blows that one away.
