Hmmm, HLJ has them on backorder which means that the fastest they'll be available is 60 days.
I'm curious to go around places in Toronto, but really the only model shops I know is in one HUGE asian mall but only has 2 hobby shops which I couldn't even find the hand drill let along any resin related tools.

that's pretty small.. I found these links. maybe they will be useful.
These guys in Toronto list an assortment of brass rods
Also check model railroad hobby shops - they usually have tons of supplies that most regular hobby shops don't bother to stock.

Oh nice, thanks for the replies, I guess 1/16" is the conversion for 1.6mm...Ordered 6 12" rods, that should hold me over.
