Hi gang,

While this thread is mainly to serve my own interests, I feel that it can't hurt to have a thread where anyone can ask and find out what dealers charged at conventions. This way, one can avoid being ripped off on YJA if sellers/scalpers don't disclose original kit prices.

However, I realize that this could get a little crazy if everyone just dumps their questions in this thread without putting in a bit of effort on their part. So please, I beseech you to do a little research beforehand so as to keep this thread manageable.

Ok, now why don't I start? :)

Additional Comments: After searching on the sculptor's page, several blog posts and two YJA auctions, I walked away empty handed. The price tag is just not there in any of the pictures.

I won't spam your thread, but I do want to say this is a wonderful idea. There have been a lot of fake kits and just cheap recasts floating around Y/J and I'm sure no one wants to pay the same price for a fake as an original! Thank you for this help! :hehe:

Hold off for a few weeks buying the kit. Polygonia did mail orders for his last Yoko kit so he'll probably do the same for this one too::thumb .

Lol, I popped this guy 2 e-mails (One in broken Japanese and one in Mandarin because I thought the representative was Chinese with a name like 金 永伯).

A day later, he added this to his shopping page:

海外への販売は致しかねます。
we are not able to distribute or sell our product to overseas.

I guess I'm the first to try. :P

The Sculptor's page has pictures, so I won't steal it from him and post it here.

Hi KrokoHunter,

関羽 is 17,000 yen (Bumped up by 1,000 yen; he was rather apologetic about it in his blog).

http://sculpey.jugem.jp/?month=200805

趙雲 is 16,000 yen (2,000 extra for 1 decal).

More sculptors should follow his lead by posting prices on his/her own respective blog/site.
