Here is my latest figure. She had some challenges for such a simple kit. The biggest issue was the lack of a belt buckle, so I had to sculpt one on myself. The second issue was self inflicted. I used a new gray primer, and the paints didn't like it as much as the normal white primer that I'm used to. Ahh well, live and learn. The last is that her shoulder tattoo is completely freehand. There were no guide marks. I looked at a lot of fan art, official art, and screen captures and the tattoo seemed to change on every picture. So I guessed. I think my line art came out a little thin, but I like it anyway. As always comments and critiques are always welcome.

Nice, um, shorts! The belt is cool too.

There are a couple of hair divets, but otherwise a smooth kit surface. The only other thing is that the pictures look like 8 bit jpegs, as there is some image banding.

Nice kit :)

The belt buckle looks great - you can't tell it was scratch built. I like the highlighting on the frayed shorts - turned out really nice. Like Blade mentioned, some more attention to the surface area on the hair (some resin boogers) and watch the paint bleed in some sections. The tattoo looks fine to me. Not sure if you were airbrushing the flesh, but it usually looks more realistic if you can mist a light coat of flesh on top of the tattoo - it makes it looks "set in" to the skin a bit.

The eyes look a bit small. Don't be afraid to fill up the eye socket

Ever tried gel medium? Mix a bit of it with some dark shadow colors and apply it to areas like the shoe laces on the boots. Wipe off with a clean towel and voila - you get some awesome depth without too much hassle ::thumb
