An IKEA hack for my kitties! =)

And they got how it worked ...

I had to rearrange the shelves a bit as the furrballs found they placed too far apart in the end.
Going Up: no problems ..
Goin' Down ... 'oh-it's-high-up-here....' ^_^;





Man, is he content ... Tussen sleeps on an IKEA Bästis cat bed while not being disturbed by daddy's photo sessions...




IKEA-bracket BJÄRNUM with a piece of an IKEA wool carpet on a JÄRPEN oak shelf (oak not available in the states though).

Here is my kitty Opal. I can't believe that I've had her for 5 years now. A co worker at an old Job found her and I took her in.I have to say she is one of the best things to every happen to me, not to sound cheesy.

Lol it does seem GKJ is a bit cat biased . I like the Ikea hack!
This summer we got a brand new Siamese kitten. "Churchill" is 8 months old now so I'll have to show some photos soon

Looks great! And I love the carpet you added to the shelves. Speaking of which ... did you custom cut that top shelf to make it curved? I didn't find a curved one on the Ikea site.

I got another dog last march. I named him Pooh Bear. I spent a lot of time riding in the passenger seat because only place he like in the car was sleeping on my back

I found that particular shelf at a local hardware store, and it was curved as is.

I wanted to post more work of Rider on my day off, but I lost one of my beloved last night. He was ailing of an intestinal tumor and moved on to the litterbox in the sky. Poor thing didn't even make it to ten.

I combed out Tussen's fur this morning ...



And .. well, it seems he spawned another Kitty from his spare fur...
