A true Jp garagekit which Zero-chan over at HF bought for me some years back when visiting Japan.

Home brewn, quite an amount of air bubbles, torn mould gaps but surprisingly clean along the seam lines and a minimal amount of pin holes.

Photo copied instructions and a very bad paint job on the included reference photos (though there are 9 of them, all from different angles).

I'm still debating whether I should sculpt legs for her or if I should go for the OOB approach...

The parts are soaking in fairy spray till tomorrow when I am going to do a quck mock up with wire + clay for the legs and decide...

Thrilled that the Good Doc actually went down to his resin dungeon, I just had to grab the brass and doodle a bit in PS to show my plans for F-chan...

Yay ... sculpting time!
'Been a while (since the Zodd crow), so it's always a bit nervous to get started....

Bring forth the ring .. I mean clay.

And after some time...

Her right foot (off balance) will be a bit curled with the toes "going backwards".

Yay Legs !

I don't know why but busts always just look unfinished to me.. especially when you see a kit is complete down to the ankles, I mean why didn't the sculptor add feet?
This kit was half thigh so it wasn't as bad. :P

You used super sculpey for the legs? Will this be baked?

Yes of course. How else am I going to paint it?
The torso part (with half the thighs) is loose, so no ... I won't be baking it with the resin part.
It's a One off, so before any questions arise; I won't be doing any castings.

The legs are Done...

It's in the oven now chilling down from the baking...

Next to do is some sanding, sanding and sanding to get the surface as smooth as the resin torso.

It's not that there's no claws on the right paw, it's that their retracted. While the claws are out on the left paw to keep her stable on one foot

The legs came out very feline and look better than having none by far!

DANG! Them legs is hotness! and I'm not even a leg man.

I do agree with the doc, the feline likeness is spot on.
Why didn't you go with the kit's original leg anyway?
